Training day for United Methodists on Saturday July 18 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This is a one-day training to help you discover your gifts and grow in service. Pastor Ashlée Vitz will be teaching the United Methodist Basics course. No experience is needed—everyone is welcome.
Classes to be offered in this series are BASIC class, Preaching class, Lay Pastoral Caregiving, and Class Leaders. Sign-up is for one class per academy.
Classes are open to anyone, with registration costing $20 plus the book for class. Scholarships are available.
Future Lay Servant Academies are being scheduled around the West Central Plains District throughout the year for 2026.
