Training day for United Methodists on Saturday July 18 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Classes to be offered are BASIC class, Preaching class, Lay Pastoral Caregiving, and Class Leaders. Sign-up is for one class per academy.
Classes are open to anyone, with registration costing $20 plus the book for class. Scholarships are available.
Future Lay Servant Academies are being scheduled around the West Central Plains District throughout the year for 2026.
