What is Free Laundry Day?
- Twice a month, anyone needing to wash dirty clothes is welcome to join us at Fr
ee Laundry Day in Clinton, IN. Many people and families live with hardships which cause them not to be able to wash their clothes, bed linens, or towels. It all just piles up and causes more burdens. If children have clean clothes, they are more likely to go to school. If people have clean clothes, they will show up at work.
Every
one is welcome at Free Laundry Day! Each laundry guest is responsible for handling their own laundry, we provide the quarters and laundry soap. We are in our 4th year of washing dirty laundry. Our FREE LAUNDRY DAY is an award-winning project which has enthusiastic volunteers and much support from our communities.
- Located on the corner of 4th and Mulberry streets in Clinton, IN. The Uptown Laundromat is a busy place washing and drying dirty clothes. Quarters and laundry detergent are always needed to help wash an average of 80 loads each FREE LAUNDRY DAY. Supplies may be donated by ordering from the Wal-Mart Free Laundry Day Registry
